Gary McLaughlin of Winnipeg passed away May 10, 2023 at his home at the age of 68 years. With great sadness and heavy hearts, we share the passing of Gary McLaughlin. He passed suddenly in the comfort of his home Wednesday, May 10. Winston was born on May 19, 1941 to George and Irene Ruddick of Shoal Lake. He had one brother, Charles. He attended Shoal Lake School and resided his whole life in Shoal Lake, Manitoba. It is with heavy hearts we write these words.  Our beloved Bradley William Nicholson passed away suddenly at his home near Shoal Lake, Manitoba on Friday, April 28, 2023 at the age of 38 years.  Brad was the best Christmas gift, arriving on December 19, 1984, the second of Bill and Teri Nicholson’s five children.  He and his siblings grew up on the family farm west of Shoal Lake, with their cousins across the road and their paternal grandparents next door.  Harvest...

Steve Chuhai, age 92, of Rossburn, Manitoba, passed away peacefully on April 27th, 2023 at the Russell Health Centre. Steve was born on February 17th, 1931 in Rossburn, Manitoba. He grew up on the farm and attended school until grade 8. He met Elizabeth Shwaluk and married on October 22, 1955. They moved to Balmertown, Ontario. Steve was employed by Red Lake Mines and operated the elevator. Then, they moved back to the Rossburn area to farm, and he later worked at Monarch Building Supplies....
