Obituary

It deeply saddens us to announce the passing of Agnes Katie Tryhuk (Zdebiak) on January 11, 2023 at the age of 78 years.

Agnes was born on the farm near Horod, MB on May 10, 1944. Agnes held many jobs including caretaker of the schools, the Memorial Hall in Elphinstone and did Homecare for a couple of decades. She volunteered at the Elphinstone rink and was an avid seamstress. Agnes loved animals, people and especially children, so much so that she started a petting zoo in Elphinstone.

One of her favorite things to do was drive her riding lawnmower and she was a loyal Winnipeg Jets fan. In the Summer, she enjoyed going to Sandy Lake on a nice summer day and watch people fish off the pier, playing on the lake or just enjoying the beach. In the fall, she watched the farmers bring in their crops and enjoyed a visit or two with them.

Agnes was predeceased by parents, Adam and Mary, brothers Tony and Tom, sister Albina (Nick), husband Nick Tryhuk, niece Helen, and partner William (John) Murray. Agnes is survived by her sister Rose (deceased husband Mike), brother Nick (Sonnia), sons Murray and

Patrick ( Sheena McKee), along with numerous nieces and nephews.
