A CELEBRATION OF LIFE FOR AMBROSE MOYER

It is with profound sadness that the family of Ambrose Walter Moyer announce his peaceful passing on March 30, at the age of 87 years. Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and friend passed away after a month long stay at Concordia Hospital in Winnipeg.

Ambrose will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 62 years, Loraine, 3 children, Wanda (Rod), Mona, Terry (Judy); 9 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; brothers Gordan, Vincent, Vern, Ralph, and Martin; sisters Madeline, Agnes and Sharon; as well as numerous extended family members and friends.

He is predeceased by his parents August and Christine; brothers Andrew, Philip, Roger and Sylvester; sisters Cecelia and Theresa; son-in-law Murray.

Ambrose and Loraine took immense pride farming in the Onanole area for over 56 years. Ambrose always had time to help with community functions and was an active member on the board to build the Erickson Hospital/Personal Care Home.  His love of family inspired him to host many wonderful family reunions.

Memorial donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba or the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Manitoba in memory of Ambrose Moyer.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Concordia Hospital for their care and compassion for Ambrose.  They also wish to express their gratitude to Amber Meadows for warmly welcoming Ambrose and Loraine into their community and helping them to feel at home.
