Darryl Louis Maurice Ducharme

Darryl Ducharme of Keeseekoowenin First Nation, Manitoba, passed away on June 23, 2023in Erickson, Manitoba at the age of 29 years.

Darryl was born in Brandon, Manitoba on December 7, 1993.

Darryl worked in various jobs as a laborer, painter, carpenter and a cook.

He obtained his chainsaw certificate through Manitoba Hydro and worked with his crew in Rolling River. Darryl attended school and as part of his education, he did his upgrading through A.C.C. This was a goal he pursued.

When Darryl was very young he had a lot of determination. He had fund raised for his own field trip when he was in grade 2. He also raised $500 so he could go to see the Gold Eyes play in Winnipeg on a train.

Darryl was part of the Eagle Nest Youth Council, representing Keeseekoowenin First Nation at the Assembly of Manitoba Chiefs when he was 16 years old.

He recently paid $3000 for his fines and was planning to go for his driver’s

license. Darryl was so happy that day. He had also met his wife to be,

 Tricia Young. They were planning to get married.

Darryl loved all his nieces and nephews. He was very protective of his baby sister, Tesheena. He also had a good relationship with his other older siblings, Joseph, Jordan and Brittany.

Darryl loved music, especially Rap. He was a Rap artist. He wrote many songs expressing himself through music. Darryl had the privilege of attending two

Madchild concerts, where he also got to meet him and  took pictures with him.

Darryl loved all kinds of music, even the oldies before his time.

Darryl had also learnt how to adopt family - These are the people whom he also considered his family:

Darryl will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Darryl was predeceased by grandparents, Louis and Jean Ducharme,

Robert Blackbird and Nellie Bone; father, Randy Ducharme, Daughter,

Meikah  Saphire Rose French, Uncles, Maurice, Clarence, Sheldon,

Kevin, Darcy, Spencer, Edward, Nelson and Keward, Aunts, Macelline and

Joanie.

Darryl leaves to morn, son, Axl Nodin Storm Mintuck, parents,

 Melissa (Bone) Dux and step-father, Colton Dux, siblings, Joseph (Keisha),

Brittany, Jordan (Destiny) and Tesheena (Jaden). Uncles, Maurice Bone, Kenny, Clayton, Steve Ducharme and numerous cousins, nieces and friends.
