Daryl Gene Boulanger

Daryl Gene Boulanger of Strathclair Manitoba Passed away on October 28, 2024, from cancer. Daryl was born March 13, 1955, to Dan and Aline Boulanger in Shoal Lake, MB. He attended Shoal Lake Collegiate until grade 10 when he started working for Drozda Construction. He worked there as an operator and mechanic until he was 19, then left and found employment at Mulder Construction. He worked at Mulder Construction for many years, filling various rolls and eventually was promoted to a foreman /supervisory position. During his time at Mulders, he travelled to many different regions of Canada and saw many different sites. Daryl worked at Mulders until 2006 where he started working for various other companies in a supervisory position until unofficially retiring in 2019 and starting an earthmoving business with his son Cory, which he played a major role in until he passed. Daryl was driven and productive even off the job site, he was constantly working to repair and improve anything that he felt could be made better. Many of his friends and family would ask for his help or advice when things broke down. Daryl enjoyed snowmobiling, boating, fishing, barbequing, and travelling. He will always be remembered by friends for playing on the Shoal Lake Flyers hockey team which he enjoyed doing for many years. In 1975 Daryl met Cindy Borowski. Daryl and Cindy dated and were married in 1980 in Selkirk, mb. They went on to have one child, Cory Boulanger. Daryl will be remembered fondly by all for caring about those around him and being driven in all his endeavors. He was predeceased by his parents Aline, Dan Boulanger and Sister Caren Glenn. He is survived by his son Cory, brother Hal, Sister Shiela, and numerous other family members that will all remember him fondly.
