Dennis Dinko of Elphinstone, Manitoba passed away June 13, 2026 at Minnedosa Hospital at the age of 77 years.
Dennis was the only child of John and Anne Dinko. He went to school at Morse, Elphinstone and Oakburn.
Dennis was part of the Ukrainian catholic youth group and played hockey in his younger years.
He moved to Calgary with Martha and worked as a welder for atco. In 1976 they moved back to the farm to raise children their children. Dennis loved farming, being in the bush, making soup, fishing, helping Martha with the garden and watching his children grow.
He loved nature and working with his hands.
He was predeceased by his parents John and Anne, his favourite Uncle Walter and his grandparents. Surviving are his wife Martha, son Mike(Jody), daughter Tammy Nowell(Ben)and 5 grandchildren Brooke, Taylor, Ethan, Addelyn and Thomas.
Pallbearers were Taylor Dinko, Ethan Dinko, Addelyn Nowell, Thomas Nowell, Brent Zurbyk and Mark Unrau honorary pallbearer were Jason Dziver and Darrell Dziver
