Iona June Dunning

  With great sadness and sorrow, our beloved mother Iona (Betty) June Dunning passed away on June
24, 2022, at the Brandon Hospital. Betty, as everyone knew her, was born in Basswood, Manitoba on
October 14, 1934. She lived in many places including B.C. and Winnipeg, Manitoba. She settled in
Erickson in the early 1970’s, where her and her husband Jano, raised their family.

  Betty loved to play poker, and also loved gardening, baking, listening to Johnny Cash and spending time
with her family. Betty will be sadly missed by her 6 children; Debra McLaughlin (Nelson), Glennie
Hrynkiw (Walter), Brenda Broney (Jim), Kevin Dunning (Barb), Cheryl Barr (Stuart), Darren Dunning
(Barb), 13 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

  She was predeceased by her husband Jano, mother and father and 16 brothers and sisters.
We will miss her dearly.

Rest in peace Mom.

Celebration of life will be held at a later date.
