Jerry Alexander Barnesky

Jerry Alexander Barnesky, retired farmer, passed away September 1, 2025 at the age of 82 at the Rossburn Personal Care Home. Jerry was born on June 4. 1943 to Alex and Olga (Gawryluk) Barnesky.

Jerry worked all his life on the family farms. Even after he sold his farm, he would still go back to check the crops.

Jerry is survived by his sister Beatrice, brother Wilbert (Phyllis), brother Darryl (Cynthia) and 16 nieces and nephews. Jerry was predeceased by his parents Alex and Olga and brothers Harvey, Raymond and Glen.

Jerry enjoyed watching the Waywayseecappo Wolverines hockey, the Winnipeg Jets and the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. Jerry was a very active member of the Rossburn Lions Club over the years.

The family would like to thank the personal care staff for the care over the years. Special thanks to the Lions Club members and Russ Andrew who visited Jerry at his bedside at the end.
