Ken Ostash

It's with heavy hearts and great sadness that we announce the passing of Kenneth John Ostash on Thursday, October 19, 2023 at the age of 66.  

He leaves behind his loving wife, Lee Ostash, his two children Janine Shwaluk (Jay) and Joel Ostash (Candace), six adoring grandchildren: Bailey, Aubree, Bryden, Nixen, Kyler and Taev, brothers Dennis Ostash (Lois), Richard Ostash (Mavis), Joseph Ostash (Debbie), Darren Ostash (Terri), father Milton Ostash, mother-in-law Bernice Markle, as well as numerous family and friends.  

He was predeceased by his mother, Lena Ostash and father-in-law Rod Markle. 

Ken was a hardworking, caring person who was always there to lend a helping hand. He had many passions in life which included farming, hunting, fishing, traveling and gardening. When he wasn’t busy working or in the field you could find him playing or watching curling, baseball and hockey. He will be fondly remembered for his love of family, big hugs, goofy dad jokes and his witty sense of humour. 

Ken may have left us too soon but will never be forgotten. He will always be in our hearts and loved forever. He will be deeply missed.
