Lorraine Emelia Casson

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lorraine Casson. Who left us on September 16, 2024 at the age of 91 at Sunnyside Manor in Birtle, Manitoba. Born on January 27,1933 in MacNutt, Saskatchewan. Lorraine was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grand mother, great-great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.

Lorraine was preceded in death by her devoted loving husband George Casson, her son-in-law Wade, and her siblings, Allan, Wilfred and Freda. She is also predeceased by her brother-in-law's Danny,Joe, Norman and sister-in-law Faye. Lorraine is survived by her daughters, Linda(Albert) Eigler, and Ann Sellars along with her grandchildren, Tara, Sheldon, Kevin, Melanie (Evan) and Peter. Lorraine was also a proud great-grandmother  to Matthew, Hannah, Dinah, Brody, Allison, Emma, Jackson and great-great-grandmother to Emma. Lorraine is survived by her siblings Arthur, Arlene, Doris and sister-in-law Beverly.

Lorraine loved camping and fishing with her late husband, George, and cherished time spent with family. A leader in 4-H, she enjoyed sharing her passion for learning and creativity with others. Lorraine loved to visit her daughter Linda in Ontario and daughter Ann in Edmonton . She had a talent for quilting, making doll clothes, and was known for her delicious cinnamon buns. Lorraine also had a deep love for gardening, particularly for flowers which brought immense joy.

A memorial service will be held on September 21, 2024 at 11 Am at the Beulah Cemetery followed by lunch at Beulah Community Hall. In lieu of flowers , the family request that donations be made to the Beulah Hall in Lorraine's memory.

Lorraine's spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed
