Peacefully on March 18-2023 at the age of 68 Max began his next journey with his loved ones in Heaven.
Max was born October 09, 1954 in Shoal Lake Manitoba where he lived with his parents. Max was predeceased by his parents Annie and Paul Shwaluk, his brother Sidney, and sisters Patsy and Elsie. Maxie is survived by his brothers Ted (Phyllis), Earl (Nancy), brother in-law Hayden, sister in-law Helen, many nieces, nephews and good friends.
After his mother’s passing, Max moved to Winnipeg to live with his brother Earl. Now, so much closer to brothers and close family Max joyfully attended all family celebrations.
Socializing and working with others was a passion of Max’s. Shortly after arriving in Winnipeg Max went to work at Norshell Industries Inc. and remained there until he retired in the fall of 2019.
Max was a funny, joyful, trickster and loved all people. He had an affinity for parties, ball caps, books and flags (to mention but a few). At the annual Norshell Industries Inc. Appreciation Dinner it was no surprise to see Maxie up on the dance floor all night long with his favorite gal(s). He truly was a happy soul. Maxie had the ability to light up a room, welcoming friends and guests (known or unknown) with a hearty handshake or warm hug.
The Lord blessed the world when he gave us Maxie. He touched many people’s lives with his joyous-happy-go lucky spirit. Max will be in our hearts forever. Rest in peace dear Maxie
