It is with sadness we announce the passing of our dad, Myron Steven Glushka, on May 22, 2024 at the age of 78.
Myron was born on May 13, 1946, to John and Mabel Glushka. He was raised on the farm west of Rossman Lake and went to school in Rossburn.
Myron met Darlene Hnatiw at The Diner in Birtle and on June 21, 1968, they were married. They moved to Winnipeg and Myron was employed by Poulans as an exterminator then moved to Brandon and continued his job.
Myron moved his family to the farm and was a grain and cattle farmer. Myron also started full-time with Manco Dairies until it closed. Myron continued his farming until 2005. He started his retirement and became employed by Mackedenski’s which he enjoyed and he always looked forward to getting back in the field.
Myron was predeceased by his parents John and Mabel Glushka, his loving wife of 37 years Darlene, sister Theresa, and brother Wayne.
Left to cherish his memories sons Gary and Brent Glushka, grandchildren Isise, Kalyn, Austin, and Sidney Glushka, brother Raymond (Georgina), sister Gail (Ken) Oakley, and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
