Peter Strilesky

It is with great sadness that the family of Peter Strilesky announce his peaceful passing on December 4, 2024 with family by his side at the Rossburn Personal Care Home at the age of 88.

Peter was born August 8, 1936 to parents Fred and Annie Strilesky in the RM of Rossburn. He was raised on the farm along with his three younger sisters.  Peter and his sisters attended Valley School.

On June 20, 1964 Peter married Verna Hrycak.  They farmed on the original homestead for 30 plus years.  After retirement they moved to Rossburn where he resided till his passing.  In retirement they liked to fish and tour the countryside.

Peter will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 60 years Verna, sisters Mildred Stitt, Irene Kohuch,  Evangeline Senko. brother-in-law Sam Hrycak (Anne) and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Peter was predeceased by his parents Fred and Annie, in-laws Nick and Teeni Hrycak, brothers-in law Joe Senko, Don Kohuch, Willis Stitt, nieces Debbie Heindle and Kelly DiCiano.

Peter was a kind man and was always ready and willing to lend a hand.  He always enjoyed visits with family and friends.

P.S. He didn’t like getting his teeth pulled.
