Rose-Marie Novalkowski Obituary

Mom passed away suddenly Oct.29, at age 66, in her home at Imrie lake. It’s hard to say goodbye. We wish that we had more time, and perhaps that during the time we had we had spent more of it together. While we take comfort in knowing that mom passed in her happy place (Imrie Lake), it's an understatement to say that she will be truly missed. Even though she is gone, she has left the legacy of her love and perseverance. The ways she touched our lives will remain, and I ask you to join me today in keeping those memories alive and sharing them with one another. One of the most important things in Mom’s life was family, and she took great pride in teaching us the importance of spending time together. She fueled our family adventures, whether it was fishing, camping, boating, or spending a lazy rainy day inside watching movies at the lake. She taught us the beauty of the outdoors, of a morning sunrise, a star filled night, a quiet night by the campfire. Her love for life was contagious, and her laughter echoed through the trees and rippled across the lake. She was fiercely devoted to her children, grandchildren, and friends. Making each moment spent together a treasured memory. Her selfless spirit and unwavering dependability meant we could always count on her, whether we needed a listening ear, a helping hand or a strong embrace. Beyond the importance of family Mom taught us many lessons in her time here with us. The merit and satisfaction of a hard day's work, and how important this work ethic was to building our own hopes, dreams and families. The value of honesty, integrity, and faith, and the important role it plays in our day to day lives. The importance of patience, compassion, and consequences in raising our own children. Finally, how to be kind. Mom had this incredible ability to connect with everyone she met, she had a way of making everyone feel special. I believe wherever her beautiful soul had been there was a trail of love to be seen. I can't help but think of the countless memories that remind me of her, and I’m sure many of you feel the same way today. As we say goodbye today, I am reminded of how lucky I am to have had a mother like Rosemarie She makes saying goodbye this hard because she filled our lives with joy, laughter and an abundance of love. Lets carry her spirit forward, with love and maybe a polka or butterfly once and a while just as she would have wanted us too.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Rose-marie Jane Novalkowski on October 29, 2024 peacefully in her beloved home on the shore of Imrie Lake. Rose-marie Jane Novalkowski was born on June 15, 1958 at home in the Rm of Seach.
