It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Stuart Aaron Bone, who passed away on March 19, 2026 at the Health Sciences Centre with his family by his side.
Predeceased by his sister Pamela Burns, father Norbere Bone grandparents Marillia & Kenward Blackbird, Illa & Fred Anchiuk. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Chantelle Kejick, sons Payne, Kaos and Havok, his mother Yvette Blackbird, sisters; Susan Blackbird, Renee Bone, brothers; Clayton Bone, Charles Bone and Spanky (Norbere) Bone as well as many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Stuart was born on February 7, 1985 at Minnedosa Hospital. He grew up in Keeseekoowenin until his teenage years when he moved to Grassy Narrows where he graduated from high school, and met his future wife while they both worked at Grassy Lodge. Together they moved to Winnipeg, where Stuart worked towards his Red Seal as a Truck Transport Mechanic. He attended Assiniboine Community College in Brandon and Red River College to complete all his levels. They resided in Winnipeg for a few years, during this time they had three boys. Stuart eventually moved back to Keesee so his sons would have more family connections. Stuart was a mechanic, a beloved uncle, caring brother, loving husband, dedicated father, loyal friend, a proud son who was patient, kind and protective of his loved ones. As a teenager Stuart would breakdance with his friends, he always loved listening to all sorts of music and watching movies. He enjoyed fixing anything, spending time outdoors, snowmobiling or going out on his side by side. He always had dogs, collected knives and swords and most of all loved eating perogies. Stuart enjoyed life to its fullest, he made friends everywhere he went, always laughing or making people laugh, or doing crazy things. Being a father was the highlight of his life; he was most looking forward to watching his sons grow into men. He wished for them to be brave, strong, respectful, honest and caring. Stuart will be truly missed.
