William "Bill" Zahaiko

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Bill Zahaiko at the Minnedosa Hospital on May 23, 2025 at the age of 95.

His last 15 years were spent at the Newdale Senior Home (Harrison House).

During that time the residents became a second family to him.

Bill is survived by his daughter Janet (Keith) Martin of Shoal Lake, son Grant (Shelley) Zahaiko of Newdale.  7 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter.  And many nieces and nephews.

Bill was predeceased by his wife Betty, son Wayne and granddaughter Gerri Martin, brothers Peter and Michael, sisters Kaye, Lucy, Carrie, Mary and Helen.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday June 14, 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Newdale South Cemetery.
